The Top 10 list has given place to 8 CBSE students and 2 ISC students

Mr. C. Vijayabaskar, Health minister of Tamilnadu has released the rank list based on the NEET test for the students who are seeking to get admission in Government aided colleges and self-financing colleges. The top 10 list has given place to 8 CBSE students and 2 ISC students. None of the Tamilnadu state board students could find their place in top 10.

The parents of the middle-class who can afford only state board seat in schools for their children are slowly losing their hope of making their children as professionals in medicine. The NEET result and this rank list break the dreams of our young pillars of India in Tamilnadu.

The protest against NEET doesn’t help the skateboard students to protect their future as a Doctor or a professional in medicine. What could be the solution? Pushing the state board students to prepare for NEET as an additional course along with their state board exams? Doesn’t it show the peak of inequality in education? We leave questions to the state and central governments.

Reliance Jio Infocomm has reached 200 million subscribers milestone at the end of May. This emerging telecom company is expected to overtake Idea’s 217 million subscribers. Reliance Jio, with the 200 million users, has become an intimidation to its peers leading telecom companies Idea (217 million users), Vodafone (222 million users) and the Market Giant, Bharthi Airtel (309 million users).

Jio’s strategy of offering the internet data for competitive prices is a major reason for the raise of the company in the competitive market in India. An average usage of data by a Jio user was estimated as 9,700 MB at the end of the March, which is the highest when compared to Airtel’s average data use of 6,586 MB per user. With this pace, Jio may over take peers Idea and Vodafone. However, competitive data plans alone not enough to compete with Bharthi Airtel, due to its huge customer base. Reliance Jio must not compromise with its quality of service and customer satisfaction in order to retain its position in the Indian telecom industry.
